पारसी धर्म

पारसी धर्म ईरान का प्राचीन काल से प्रचलित धर्म है। ये ज़न्द अवेस्ता नाम के धर्मग्रंथ पर आधारित है। इसके प्रस्थापक महात्मा ज़रथुष्ट्र हैं, इसलिये इस धर्म को ज़रथुष्ट्री धर्म भी कहते हैं ।

फारस का यह प्राकृतिक धर्म कालांतर में धर्म श्रवौन के रूप में स्वीकार किया गया. इस धर्म के संस्थापक जरथुष्ट्र थे. यही श्रवौन धर्म बाद में पारसी धर्म बना. जरथुष्ट्र का जन्म पश्चिमी ईरान के अजरबेजान प्रान्त में हुआ था. उनके पिता का नाम पोमशष्पा और माता का नाम दुरोधा था ।

ज़रथुष्ट्र धर्म की मान्यता

ज़रथुष्ट्र धर्म में दो शक्तियों की मान्यता है

1. स्पेन्ता मैन्यू, जो विकास और प्रगति की शक्ति है और

2. अंग्र मैन्यू, जो विघटन और विनाशकारी शक्ति है।

ज़रथुष्ट्र धर्मावलम्बी सात देवदूतों (यज़त) की कल्पना करते हैं, जिनमें से प्रत्येक सूर्य, चंद्रमा, तारे, पृथ्वी, अग्नि तथा सृष्टि के अन्य तत्वों पर शासन करते हैं। इनकी स्तुति करके लोग अहुरमज्द को भी प्रसन्न कर सकते हैं।

धर्मग्रंथ

पारसियों का प्रवित्र धर्मग्रंथ 'जेंद अवेस्ता' है, जो ऋग्वेदिक संस्कृत की ही एक पुरातन शाखा अवेस्ता भाषा में लिखी गई है। ईरान के सासानी काल में जेंद अवेस्ता का पहलवी भाषा में अनुवाद किया गया, जिसे 'पंजंद' कहा जाता है। परन्तु इस ग्रंथ का सिर्फ़ पाँचवा भाग ही आज उपलब्ध है। इस उपलब्ध ग्रंथ भाग को पांच भागों में बांटा गया है

1. यस्त्र (यज्ञ)- अनुष्ठानों एवं संस्कारों के मंत्रों का संग्रह,

2. विसपराद- राक्षसों एवं पिशाचों को दूर रखने के नियम,

3.यष्ट- पूजा-प्रार्थना,

4. खोरदा अवेस्ता- दैनिक प्रार्थना पुस्तक,

5. अमेश स्पेन्ता- यज़तों की स्तुति।

Zoroastrianism

Zoroastrianism is the practiced religion of Iran since ancient times. It is based on a scripture named Zanda Avesta. Its founder is Mahatma Zarathustra, so this religion is also called Zaratushtri religion.

This natural religion of Persia was later accepted as Dharma Shravan. The founder of this religion was Zarathustra. This Shravan religion later became Zoroastrianism. Zarathustra was born in the Azerbaijan province of western Iran. His father's name was Pomashpa and mother's name was Durodha.

Zarathustra religion recognizes two powers

The Zarathustra believers conceive of seven angels (yazat), each ruling over the sun, moon, stars, earth, fire and other elements of creation. By praising him, people can also please Ahurmajd.

The sacred scripture of the Parsis is 'Jenda Avesta', which is written in the Avesta language, an ancient branch of Rigvedic Sanskrit. The Zend Avesta was translated into the Pahlavi language, called 'Panjand', in the Sasanian period of Iran. But only the fifth part of this book is available today. This available text part is divided into five parts
