What is Islam?

Islam is an Arabic word. It means adopting or entering into peace. In this sense, being a Muslim means a person who has a completely peaceful and peaceful relationship with everyone, from human beings to God. In this way, the basic nature of Islam is that such a religion, through which a person takes shelter of God by treating another human with love and non-violence.

Who was the originator of Islam religion?

Hazrat Muhammad was the originator of Islam religion. He is believed to have been born in 570 AD. From the point of view of Indian history, when India was ruled by Harshavardhana and Pulakesian, then Hazrat Muhammad was spreading the religion of Islam in Arab countries.

• The basis of Islam is the Quran, Sunnah and Hadith.
• The Quran is that holy book, which contains the messages sent to Hazrat Muhammad through God.
• The works done by Muhammad Sahab are mentioned in the Sunnah. At the same time, Hadith is such a scripture that contains the teachings of Muhammad. That is, in this holy book, apart from the things of Muhammad's life, Sunnah is also included.
• One of the specialties of Islam is that it was not created by Muhammad after thinking, but it was enlightened, that is, it was seen in the state of samadhi. Quran also means the thing or thing spoken or read.

Fundamental Mantra
of Islam The basic mantra of Islam is - La ilaha illallah muhammadurrasulullah. It means that there is no one to be worshiped other than Allah and Muhammad is His Messenger. That is, a true Muslim is one who not only believes in Allah, but also believes that Muhammad is the Prophet, Prophet and Messenger of Allah.

The Qur'an
is one of those verses in the Qur'an, which came out of the mouth of Muhammad when he was completely immersed in divine inspiration. According to Islamic beliefs, God used to convey these verses to Muhammad through angels. The collection of these holy verses is the Quran. The verses of the Qur'an were received by the Prophet from time to time for 23 years, which he compiled sometimes on sticks and sometimes on talpatras. During these 23 years the Prophet lived for 13 years in holy Mecca and 10 years in Medina. After him, the first Caliph Abu Bakr edited all these verses compiled by Muhammad and prepared the Holy Quran, which is considered authentic.

Prophet, Nabi and Rasul
: Muhammad is also called Prophet, Nabi and Rasool due to the vision of Islam in the state of samadhi.

• The meaning of Prophet is one who gives the message. Since the message of God reached the earth through Muhammad. That's why he was considered a prophet.
• The one who reveals divine knowledge is a prophet, he became a prophet by doing the same thing of the prophet.
• Rasool also means sent or messenger. Muhammad also became the messenger of religion between God and humans.

5 Duties of
Islam The believer of Islam has to fulfill 5 religious duties.

1. Reading the kalma-la ilaha illallah muhammadurrarsulullah. Believe, remember and say through this basic mantra that Allah is one and Muhammad is His Messenger. The principle of believing in only one God, that is, the basis of Tawhid, is the basic formula.
2. Namaz- Praying to Allah 5 times everyday. It is also called Salat.
3. Fasting - Ramadan is the holy month of Islam. In this, fulfilling the rule of eating food once a month only after sunset. It is in this holy month that the Quran is believed to descend.
4. Zakat- Donating a fixed part of the annual income (up to about 2.5 percent).
5. Rahaj - A visit to the holy pilgrimage places of Islam religion, Mecca and Medina.
